Welcome to the website of Uffculme School. I hope you find it informative and that you will see why Ofsted believe this is an Outstanding School.
Following its first year as an Academy, Uffculme delivered a truly exceptional set of exam results with 85% of students achieving the gold standard of 5 good GCSEs including English and Maths. This is an 8% increase on last year’s results. A huge 90% of students achieved 5 or more A*-C grades with every single student achieving at least one C. Targets have once again been smashed in every area including the number of students achieving the top grades of A and A*. This has leapt 10% up to 32% this year meaning that one third of all students achieved top grades in their subjects.
Year on year our results just keep getting better. They are testament to the hard work and application of all of the young people and to the dedication and commitment of their teachers. Students right across the ability range have achieved exceptional results and this proves there is no ceiling to what can be achieved at Uffculme.
This is the fifth successive year of rises in results and represents a significant achievement. It will undoubtedly confirm once again Uffculme’s status as the top performing comprehensive school in the south west.
